What Brought Me Back
Many years ago, in trying to figure out what I wanted in life, I found myself working for a copier dealer. I hated it! Working in a cold office with the sun glaring through the windows in your eyes, rules of what to do and what not to do that refers to me but nobody else was not my dream job. One day I was correcting a billing error, which upset my boss (I still don't understand why, maybe she was having a bad day). In the end, I was let go due to this misunderstanding. I was happy about it for a short time because I felt free, but that only lasted as long as my money did, which wasn't very long. I was denied unemployment because my old bosses lied about why they let me go, oh well nothing I could do about that. So I moved on and started looking for a job. The only thing I could find due to the tough economy was part-time at Subway. Now I love Subway, but that is not going to support three kids and myself. So I took the leap, quit that job and registered here at Hartnell Community College. I began my first classes in Fall 2009 and I loved it. Now I work hard seeking my dream of opening a successful motorcycle repair shop. Working on motors has always made me happy. I will be attending tech school as soon as I graduate from Hartnell.
I have finally finished my resume. Please check it out. Also check out my shop's website at www.gemmascycleshack.weebly.com
